2. Data we process
Depending on how you contact us or book, we may process:
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone)
- Stay details (dates, guests, special requests, pets, parking)
- Billing and payment data needed for the booking (as requested by the Direct Book engine)
- Data required by Italian law (e.g. Alloggiati Web / public security forms)
- Technical data strictly needed to run the site (see Cookies)
- Marketing preferences only if you gave explicit consent
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data for:
- Managing the booking and stay (contract / pre-contractual steps)
- Invoicing and accounting/tax duties (legal obligation)
- Reporting to authorities, including Alloggiati Web (legal obligation)
- Customer care via email, phone, WhatsApp (legitimate interest or contract)
- Marketing emails (offers, news, promotions) — only with opt-in consent, withdrawable at any time (consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR)
- Site security and proper operation (legitimate interest)
4. Recipients
Data may be shared, only when needed, with:
- Online booking engine providers (Direct Book / Little Hotelier)
- Site hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Vercel)
- Professionals (e.g. accountant) within legal limits
- Public authorities when required by law
We do not sell your data for commercial purposes.
5. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal duties:
Bookings, invoicing and accounting/tax records: for the periods required by applicable Italian law.
Alloggiati data: as required by public security rules.
Contact requests without a booking: generally up to 24 months after closing the request, unless otherwise needed.
Marketing lists: until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe.
Essential technical logs: for short periods linked to security and operations.
6. Your rights
You may exercise GDPR rights at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable), objection and withdrawal of marketing consent without affecting prior lawful processing.

8. Children
Booking services are for adults or guests booking for a family. We do not knowingly collect children’s data for marketing.

These terms cover booking and staying at Hotel Vittoria, Via Benamati 118, Toscolano Maderno (BS). By completing a booking you accept these conditions.
1. Scope
Hotel Vittoria provides rooms and related services (pools, garden, optional extras) in Toscolano Maderno on Lake Garda. Bookings via the official website use the Direct Book (Little Hotelier) engine.
2. Booking and payment
Availability and rates shown on the booking engine are those valid at search time. The booking is confirmed when you receive confirmation.
Payment, deposit or card guarantee follow the options shown when you book on Direct Book and in your confirmation email. They may vary depending on the rate you choose.
Typical extras already listed on the site (unless your confirmation says otherwise): private parking €10 per stay; pets €5 per night; tourist tax €1.50 per person per night, paid at the hotel.
3. Check-in and check-out
Check-in: 14:30–19:30. Arriving in this window is important.
Check-out: by 10:00.
If you will be late, tell us as soon as possible (phone, email or WhatsApp). On request we can arrange auto check-in. Early check-in is sometimes possible by prior agreement.
4. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation, refund and change rules depend on the rate you select when booking (for example flexible / refundable vs non-refundable). They are shown before payment and repeated in your confirmation. Those rate conditions apply: if you choose a non-refundable rate, cancellation or no-show is generally not refunded, except where mandatory law or a written agreement with the hotel says otherwise.

5. Guest responsibilities
Guests must behave respectfully towards the property, other guests and neighbours.
Pools may be used until 20:00; after that they cannot be used (cleaning and water treatment).
Damage or loss caused by the guest may be charged at repair or replacement cost.
Valid ID documents are required on arrival for legal guest registration (Alloggiati Web).
6. Pets
Pets (including dogs) are welcome at €5 per night; please declare them when booking.
Rules: always pick up waste; keep dogs controlled and on a leash in shared outdoor areas; by the pools dogs must not roam freely and are not allowed in the water; do not leave them alone in the room for long periods if they may disturb others. Ask us before booking if unsure.
7. Parking
Private on-site parking is €10 per stay, on request and to be reserved when booking. EV charging is available with advance notice.
For the correct approach (especially from the north of the lake), follow Arrive & parking on the site: the last stretch on Google Maps can use narrow streets.
8. Marketing communications
We send promotional emails only with separate opt-in consent, for example: “I agree to receive marketing communications (offers, news and promotions) by email from Hotel Vittoria. Consent is optional and I can withdraw it at any time.”
Consent is not required to complete a booking and can be withdrawn anytime at info@hotelvittoriamaderno.it.
9. Governing law and venue
Italian law applies. Venue: Court of Brescia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
